Lori O’Dea is a fiction writer, literary critic, and editor living in Chicago. She is a graduate of St. John's College in Santa Fe and holds an M.A. in English literature and creative writing from City College of New York, where she twice received the Stark Short Fiction Prize and was a nominee for Best New American Voices. Her work has appeared in LIBER, The Massachusetts Review, Harrington Lesbian Fiction Quarterly, American Book Review, Rain Taxi, Bridge, and the Gay & Lesbian Review. She reviews contemporary literature with a focus on works in translation and works by LGBTQ authors.
